So-called Omar Mukhtar Operation Room of Khalifa Haftar’s self-styled army has resumed its shelling on the city of Derna.
The media coordinator of the room, Abdul Karim Sabra, stated that the bombing targeted what he called "the armed group's dens" positioned in Al-Dahir Al-Humor district.
An uneasy calm prevailed in Derna on Saturday after a day of intermittent clashes. Dignity Operation has been preparing to invade the city after declaring the surrounded areas as restricted military zones, prohibiting any movement of goods, people, or essential relief supplies.
