Khalifa Haftar’s self-styled General Command has ordered all African nationals from the neighboring countries to leave Libya by March 17, warning them (the Africans) not to join what it described “the militias” to undermine stability and security in the south.

In a brief statement, the General Command, which is only functioning in the east and part of the south, threatened to use all the available military means – land and air - to deport them.

The statement also called south elders to lift social protection on anyone who harbors or helps any African national.
