The Assembly of Derna People (ADP) has demanded the Foreign Ministry of the Presidential Council to reveal the findings on foreign airstrikes on the city, saying the Libyan authorities and the international community bear the legal responsibility for the siege and shelling of the city.

In a statement, the ADP stressed the need to work to provide the city's basic human rights by reopening the city`s sea port and ensuring the entry of citizens’ basic needs.

The district of Fatayeh in Derna was hit with airstrikes from an unknown aircraft last October, which led to the death of approximately 15 people and wounding dozens more.

No party or state has claimed responsibility for the bombing so far.
