The Libyan Football Federation has set the beginning of December as the next date for the start of the Libyan Football Cup for the sports season of 2017 - 2018.
The Organizing Committee of competition stated that according to Article (18) of competition regulations, the participation of clubs whose teams play in the Premier League is compulsory, while the participation of clubs whose teams play in the second and third divisions is optional. The date for the draw is yet to be announced until the participating clubs are confirmed.
