Prime Minister Abdul Hamid Dbeibah says that the textbook must be printed in Libya from now on, indicating that this would radically solve the school book crisis and the delay of its distribution.

In a meeting attended by officials of the Ministry of Education on Tuesday, the PM underscored that developing the educational process is a priority, but shifting to other advanced educational methods requires time and it can not be applied now due to the exceptional situation in the country.

He highlighted the government's efforts last year to maintain and complete many suspended school projects in different regions, promising that more will be built this year.

Students got off to a rough start this year, with two months since the beginning of the school year 2021-2022, many pupils are attending classes with no books.
