Customs Office at Khums Port seize over 17 tons of Hashish

An official from the customs office at the Port of Khums, 120 km east of Tripoli, said that the customs officials at the port seized on Tuesday a shipment of 17 tons and 500 kg of Hashish coming from Syria, which was registered in the customs declaration as construction materials.

The official explained that this shipment is the third of its kind to arrive at the port in less than a month, adding that the number of shipments seized of this drug during this period amounted to 37 tons and 800 kg.
