The Finance Ministry has announced an increase in the Customs Authority revenues by 86% during the past year 2019, compared to the base year 2012.

The ministry indicated in a statement that the revenues amounted to 1.58 billion dinars, praising the role of customs officials and their efforts to enhance incomes.

The Central Bank of Libya (CBL) in mid-January announced revenues of only 297 million dinars of the customs service, while in turn, the Customs Authority called on the bank at the time to check the accuracy of data and information before publication.
