The member of the Constituent Assembly Nadia Omran, said Monday that the amendment made by the House of Representatives (HoR) yesterday to the constitutional declaration was "unconstitutional".

"Any amendment to the constitutional declaration requires a vote of not less than 120 MPs, while those attended today's session and voted on the amendment did not exceed 105 member,” Omran explained in a press statement.

The HoR voted on Monday to immunize Article 6 of the referendum law and include it in the constitutional declaration, in the presence of 105 MPs.
