Member of the Libyan Constitution Drafting Assembly, Nadia Omran, has criticized UN envoy Ghassan Salame's statement on the upcoming elections, in which he ignored the constitutional referendum issue.

Nadia accused the UN mission of using delay tactics, reminding it of its primary task as to support the Libyans in establishing a state of law and institutions.

She also called on the UN mission to stop manipulating the fate of the Libyans and to respect the principles and values of the Charter of the United Nations, instead of being a stumbling block to state building.
