Armed clashes broke out on Sunday evening between two militias affiliated with Haftar, a source from Benghazi confirmed.

The clashes erupted in the Qasr Al-Sindbad neighbourhood, between a militia belonging to Haftar's son Saddam and an armed group affiliated with the militiaman, Abd al-Latif al-Mashay.

The warring militias exchanged fire with medium and light weapons, while no information was confirmed regarding the casualties resulting from these clashes.

In the same context, activists posted pictures of burned stores on social media, confirming they belonged to Abd al-Latif al-Mashay and were set to fire by members of Saddam's militia.
