The General Electricity Company of Libya (GECOL) announced Saturday that vital supply lines to six power stations in the outskirts of Tripoli, including Qaser Bin Ghashir district and the nearby areas have been cut off, as a result of the ongoing armed clashes south of Tripoli.

"The security situation prevented the technical teams from entering the affected sites to inspect the damage in these stations or to conduct any maintenance work," GECOL said on Facebook yesterday.
