Identical sources from Sabha city, southern Libya, confirmed the kidnapping of a resident from the city, after being intercepted by gunmen driving a car with tinted windows on the outskirts of the city.
The same sources reported that cases of armed robbery have escalated after the full withdrawal of pro-Haftar forces to Tamnhant Military Base.
For his part, the Mayor of Sabha, Hamed al-Khayali blamed the commander of Sabha's military zone affiliated to Haftar's forces, for the security violations and the fake checkpoints, which have been set up just a few meters away from his headquarters, according to his say.
