Chairman of the Presidential Council (PC), Fayez Al-Sarraj, discussed Tuesday with a number of security and military commanders the security situation following the armed clashes in the outskirts of Tripoli.

The meeting reviewed reports on the security situation in the conflict region and in the capital in general, as well as the measures taken for the safety of citizens.

Al-Sarraj ordered the assessment of the damage caused by the clashes, praising the role of the military units and the security services to reduce damages and loss of lives.

He also called on those who triggered the clashes to have good sense and wisdom, warning of the consequences of continuing with such an approach.
