The Chairman of the National Oil Corporation (NOC) Mustafa Sanallah, said Monday that the attack on the NOC HQ shows the fragility of the security situation in the country.

Sanallah stressed the need to adopt firm security measures to ensure the institution's viability, in order to withstand those who seek to hinder the country's recovery and development, according to the NOC website.

He also called on the relevant parties to commit themselves to bring the perpetrators of these acts to justice, assuring that the attack will have no impact on the production processes.

Sanallah reaffirmed that the human loss is much more of concern for the institution than the material cost.
