The State of Chad deployed ground forces and warplanes near its border with Libya, the American website Bloomberg reported, noting that the Chadian step comes in the context of strengthening its military presence near the Libyan border to address any possible attack by the Chadian rebels especially after the recent attack on a security point in the north of Chad, which led to several casualties during this month.

Bloomberg quoted well-informed sources as saying that Chad had deployed warplanes in the city of Faya Largeau near the Libyan border, in addition to moving an armed convoy from the capital of N'Djamena towards the border area with Libya.
