Members of the Board of Directors of the Central Bank of Libya have called for an online meeting on Thursday to discuss several issues.

The request was made by four members headed by Ali Al-Habri, in a letter addressed to the CBL Governor Saddek Elkaber.

The letter referred to several proposed items, including lifting trade restrictions on selling foreign currency to small businesses, opening bank clearing, and creating equal opportunities among commercial banks, in addition to discussing exchange rate developments in light of recent political variables.
