The Central Bank of Libya (CBL) has announced that the first stage of online payment project via cell phones "Sadad" (Payout) has finished in coordination with Madar Telecommunications.
The CBL said in a statement that they started the second stage, the digital bank account, and then they will finish up the cell phone-linked system for payments and connect it to commercial banks.
The CBL launched the new service in coordination with Madar Telecommunications last October in order to allow users pay and exchange money via smart phones.
