The Central African Republic Embassy in Libya presented an honorary shield to Brigadier General Mohamed Bishr, chief of the Anti-Illegal Immigration Agency, for the efforts of the Agency and its members in terms of providing humanitarian services to the vulnerable and for saving the lives of illegal immigrants, according to the Information Office of the Agency.

The same source added that this recognition came after the efforts made by the Agency in the case of "Maryam Zakaria," a daughter of a lawmaker in the House of Representatives of the Central African Republic.

The girl had been missing until the Libyan Anti-Illegal Immigration Agency was able to locate her whereabouts. She was found in a good health condition and was safely reunited with her family in the Central African Republic.
