A suicide car bomber struck checkpoint 60 in southern Ajdabiya on Friday, local sources reported.

The sources said a group of fighters from Brigade 152 of Dignity Operation were on duty when the bomber rammed his explosives-laden car into the checkpoint, leaving at least three fighters wounded.

A Sudanese national who was stopped by the guards prior to the explosion was also wounded, the sources added.

No group has claimed responsibility for the attack, but it bore the hallmarks of Daesh (ISIS).
