Bunyan Marsoos mission seeks to extend their borders

The spokesman for the Ministry of Defence, Mohammed Al-Gosri, called on the Presidential Council to form a force that would fight remnants of ISIS in areas stretching from Sirte to Jufra.  

Al-Gosri stressed that forces of Bunyan Marsoos has not conducted any military operations on ISIS targets south of Sirte because those areas lay outside of their control.

He explained that the mission of Bunyan Marsoos is to protect the area from Misrata to Sirte, pointing out that the remaining number of ISIS fighters in those areas is estimated at approximately 1000 fighters from different nationalities.
