The British government said it has allocated 5 million GBP to provide humanitarian support and protection for migrants and refugees in Libya.

The British Minister of International Development, Penny Mordaunt, said on Monday that the migrants in Libya face dangerous conditions and exploitation and even “modern slavery”, confirming her country's continuing commitment to work to resolve the main reasons that compel citizens to migrate.
