UK Foreign Office Minister for the Middle East and North Africa, James Cleverly, has affirmed his country’s depth of relations with Libya along with its support for all efforts being made to achieve the holding of elections on time.

This came during his meeting with the Libyan Minister of Interior, Khalid Mazen in London, in the presence of the Charge d’Affairs of the Libyan embassy in the UK, according to the media office of the Ministry of Interior.

A number of topics were discussed during the meeting, most importantly the combating of the recent increase of illegal immigration, organized crime, and the ever-growing phenomenon of cybercrime.

The meeting also touched on facilitating easier visa procedures between both countries, along with numerous other topics of relevance.
