The member of the Presidential Council (PC), Mussa Al-Koni, met on Sunday, with the British Ambassador to Libya, Caroline Hurndall, to discuss the latest Libyan political developments and issues of common interest.

Hurndall renewed her country's continued support for the PC, which seeks to achieve stability through the national reconciliation, and to hold elections on a consensual constitutional basis, according to the PC media office.

Al-Koni stressed PC keenness to hold parliamentary and presidential elections, and its support for efforts to reach consensual constitutional frameworks to achieve the Libyan people's desire for stability through elections.
