Tripoli oil depot resumed work yesterday after two days of suspension due to the escalation of clashes near its vicinity, Brega Oil Marketing Company has confirmed.

"Stability and calm prevailed in the vicinity of the depot after clashes rocked the area on Saturday and caused the evacuation of all workers from the place," the company explained on Facebook.

It assured consumers that fuel and gas supplies have been restored and are available in sufficient quantities.

On Saturday, the company announced it would suspend operations and operationalize the evacuation plan in Tripoli depot as a result of the intensification of clashes and indiscriminate shelling.
