Boycotting member of the House of Representatives (HoR) for Misrata Fathi Pashagha has held the Presidential Council (PC) accountable for the terrorist attack on the National Oil Corporation (NOC) in Tripoli by failing to impose security in the capital.

"The PC did not take an interest in the security plans of the security arrangements, given that it holds the domestic and international legitimacy according to the political agreement, it is the one to blame," Pashagha explained in a press statement Tuesday.

He added that there is no real security work existing in Tripoli, nor any seriousness by the government to develop a solid framework of security, explaining that all that exists is attempts by battalions and armed groups of some organs who are in reality, detached from the state structures.
