An eight-year-old boy was abducted in Benghazi on Friday. Abdul-Raof Al-Ojali was abducted by an unknown group in front of his house in Hai Salam district.

The boy’s relatives said the kidnappers had demanded a 2 million dinar ransom for his release, which the family could not provide. His fate is still unknown.

His father, Ali, is the head of Benghazi Reconstruction Committee, which was formed by Benghazi Municipality in collaboration with the military governor Abdul-Rizzaq Al-Nadori.
