Flights at Benina Airport of Benghazi were suspended on Monday following a strike by workers of the Libyan Ground Handling Company.

Sources said the workers are demanding their unpaid salaries, which they haven’t received for more than 16 months.

“The workers are complaining about the negligence of government officials to their demands”, the sources indicated, adding that there are no solutions in sight.
Emergency meetings are being held to meet the workers’ demands.
