The head of the Steering Council of Benghazi Saqr Boujouari expressed his desire to involve Italian companies in the reconstruction, economic investment and implementation of infrastructure projects in the city.
Boujouari's remarks came during a meeting held at Benghazi Municipality's HQ with a delegation from the Libyan-Italian Chamber of Commerce, where the delegation was briefed on the city's infrastructure needs.
For his part, President of the Libyan-Italian Chamber of Commerce Gian Franco Damiano expressed his hope that the Italian companies will have the opportunity to contribute to reconstruction projects in Benghazi and enhance coordination to serve the two nations.
