The Prime Minister of the parallel government, Fathi Bashagha, has called for "safe exit" from Tripoli of the ministers of the Government of National Unity, pointing out that not much time left to exploit this opportunity.
During a speech at the Forum of Sheikhs and Notables in Sirte, Bashagha described members of the Government of National Unity as "illegitimate occupiers of the government's headquarters in Tripoli, and they are subject to legal accountability by virtue of the law, morality and religion."
"Now you have a very narrow window of opportunity, that we had called for reconciliation and that we would not enter Tripoli by force and not a drop of blood would be spelt; but when we see Libya threatened and exposed to dangers, and when we see the suffering of 7 million Libyans and their lives in danger, in such a case, other words will be said." he added.
