The Minister of Interior, Fathi Bashaga, discussed with the Turkish Ambassador to Libya Serhat Aksan, the amplification of cooperation in the field of security between the two countries, according to the Ministry of the Interior.

This information came during Bashaga’s hosting of the Turkish Ambassador on Wednesday, at the Ministry’s headquarters in Tripoli, in addition to the attendance of the Director of the Department of International Relations and Cooperation.

The Ministry of Interior said on its official Facebook page that the meeting also covered ways to intensify the expectation for cooperation between both countries, including cooperation and coordination in all critical areas, particularly security. They also covered a number of other issues of common interest.
