Mayor of Bani Walid, Salem Anwir, said that maintenance of the city's airport is near finalization.
This came during an inspection visit to the airport by the mayor and municipal council members.
The mayor stressed the need for expediting the work and to upgrade it into a full-fledged airport that meets the needs of passengers, emphasizing the need to cooperate and maintain such a vital facility, according to him.
