The General Authority for Search and Identification of Missing Persons said Tuesday it is working to identify three corps recovered over the past period from mass graves in Tarhouna city.

The samples would be taken from the bones of the victims to extract the DNA needed to identify the victims by matching them with those of the families of missing persons, the statement explains.

Last week, the teams of the Excavation Department announced the recovery of three unidentified bodies from a mass grave found on Abdali Road, well known as Qabinah, in the city of Tarhouna.
