The supreme committee for combating Covid-19 has reviewed setting up controls to prohibit the entry of products into the country, except for medical and food supplies, according to a specific mechanism.

The committee put on the table a package of measures, chief among them is to halt the importing of goods except for essential items, in order to slow the spread of the virus in the country after registering 10 cases.

Recently, the committee had suggested a number of measures, which were adopted later by the authorities, including extending the hours of curfew from two o'clock pm until seven o'clock am, as well as reducing working hours in public sectors.
