The head of the Audit Bureau, Khaled Shakshak, said that preliminary estimates for the ongoing war on Tripoli indicate losses are exceeding 60 billion dinars.

Shakshak said in a press statement that the closure of oil ports is blackmail and a repetition of a scenario that cost the state 150 billion dinars in the past years.

"Those who started this war under the pretext of fighting corruption are committing a "great betrayal" for receiving money from foreign countries," he added.

Shakshak expressed surprise at the actions of the international community, which admits to committing crimes, but at the same time calls for the inclusion of those responsible for these crimes to be part of the political settlement.
