The Head of the Investigations Bureau of the Attorney General's Office Siddiq Al-Sour, affirmed Sunday that the Public Prosecution is working to address the issue of illegal immigrants, refusing to disembark the ship docked at Misurata Port.

Al-Sour told The Libya Observer that the prosecution is investing all peaceful means to negotiate with the migrants to reach a solution on their situation.

The 80 migrants arrived at the port of Misurata about nine days ago, after being rescued from the middle of the Mediterranean while trying to reach Europe and were returned to Libya via the ship Niven.
