The head of the Committee for the Constitution Drafting Assembly, Noah AbdulSayed, asked his members to hold a meeting on Sunday to re-vote on the draft constitution. This comes after a siege by gunmen on the headquarters of the committee took place when the results of the vote became apparent showing that members approved the draft by 43 votes out of 44 votes.

AbdulSayed said in a statement that the re-vote is the desire of the masses and he invites members to meet on Sunday morning to re-vote, threatening to apply any due regulations to those who decline.

This all comes on the backdrop of gunmen loyal to Khalifa Hafter storming the headquarters of the Committee and assaulting it's members, then taking AbdulSayed to an unknown place then released shortly afterwards.
