The Head of the Investigation Bureau of the Attorney General’s office in Tripoli, Al-Siddiq Al-Sour, issued an arrest warrant of the former CEO of the Libyan Mail and Telecommunication Holding Company Adel Rajab Markous on Sunday.

Al-Sour told reporters that the warrant comes as Markous has violated the company’s laws by forming boards of directors for telecom firms that have no commercial records, adding that investigating is underway but Markous has not complied with the arrest order.

Markous was the CEO of the company at the Salvation Government before the Presidential Council had ordered the reshuffle of the board of directors of the company.
