The Spokesman for the Sirte-Al-Jufra Operations Room, Abdul Hadi Darah, said that their forces had spotted an armed convoy of Haftar’s militia heading from Al-Jufra in central Libya towards the southern region.
Darah added in a press statement that the convoy included 17 armed cars, six armoured vehicles and two further cars loaded with ammunition.
He further confirmed that they had observed a military cargo plane landing at the Al-Qardabiyah base in Sirte on Saturday morning, stressing that Haftar is not seeking stability or security, but aspires to return to war in order to seize power.
