An armed group has intercepted six fuel trucks loaded with 250,000 liters of diesel fuel while they were on their way to the Ubari power plant on Wednesday.

The armed attackers forced the drivers to unload the shipment to other trucks belonging to them, taking their phones and detaining them until they finished unloading and ran away.

On its Facebook page, the Fuel and Gas Crisis Committee said that the drivers were released and are back safe in Tripoli, demanding security authorities to take actions to track down the armed group and bring them to justice.
