The League of Arab States (LAS), called on the two Libyan parties presently meeting in Morocco, to engage with all good faith, in the efforts to reach a national and united solution to the present crisis in Libya, beneath the auspices of the United Nations (UN).

In a statement, the LAS expressed its appreciation for the launch of the Libyan discussions in the Moroccan city of Bouznika, stressing that it is encouraging the Libyan dialogue, in order to push for a path to a political solution, in accordance with the terms of the Skhirat Agreement, along with the initiatives put forward to reach a peaceful settlement to the ongoing crisis in the country.
