The Speaker of the Tobruk-based House of Representatives (HoR), Aqila Saleh, arrived in the Russian capital, Moscow, on Tuesday, on a visit that came at the invitation of the Russian authorities, according to the Tobruk HoR spokesman Abdullah Blihaq.
Aqila Saleh began his visit to the Russian capital, Moscow, by meeting with Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, Blihaq said in a press statement.
The Tobruk HoR spokesman disclosed that the visit was devoted to discussing developments in the situation in Libya and the region as a whole, besides ways to end the Libyan crisis and the role of the international community and the Russian authorities in ending the conflict in war-torn North African country.
