Minister of Oil and Gas, Mohamed Aoun issued an order Tuesday to form a committee to communicate with the parties behind closing the oil facilities, in order to find quick solutions to resume production without any conditions.

A statement by the Ministry of Oil said that Aoun convened a meeting with several officials from the ministry to review the repercussions of halting the oil production on the sector in particular and on the Libyan state in general.

"The consequences of this crisis will be clarified to the public, due to the damage it causes to the reservoirs, infrastructure, and surface facilities of oil facilities," a statement by the ministry said.
