A commander in the Misrata-led Anti-Terrorism Force, Mukhtar Al-Jahawi, said Sunday that meetings are continuing with the competent authorities and the Presidential Council to elaborate the final vision for securing the capital.

Al-Jahawi explained in a press statement that the force is waiting for the security arrangements, confirming that the Central and Western Military Region and the Anti-Terrorism Force were entrusted with securing the areas of conflict in Tripoli.

He added that the security arrangements and the forces distribution map inside the capital is still under study, pending a final agreement.

The Anti-Terrorism Force has been stationed in Tripoli outskirt of Tajoura since last week awaiting orders to deploy in the capital.
