The Anti-Coronavirus Supreme Committee has recommended that a total lockdown be implemented as from next Friday for a period of 10 days.
The committee said that all forms of gatherings should be suspended, Shopping malls were also mentioned but the recommendation did exempt small grocery, bakery, and shopping stores.
The recommendations also stipulated that citizens would be allowed to move from 8:00 am to 12:00 p.m. without using cars, in addition to the closing of banks, and that the Ministry of Interior would deal with any violations of these measures.
