Authorities in Bomba town in east Libya confirmed the recovery of another body belonging to a crew member of an Egyptian trawler that sank off Ras Al-Tin district, some 50 km east of Derna, a few days ago.

Captain of the Coast Security Agency of Tobruk, Abdul Salam Al-Fayidi, clarified that the body was transferred to the morgue of Tobruk Medical Center in order to take the necessary measures.

A body of another sailor was recovered earlier this week by the Coast Guard who handed over the body to the Egyptian authorities through Salloum crossing border.

The Egyptian trawler was carrying fifteen Egyptian sailors before it went missing a few days ago in Ras Al-Tin district. Only five of the crew were rescued, while search for the missing sailors is still continuing.
