Animal rights activists in Benghazi launched a solidarity campaign on social networking sites in protest of neglected animals at Benghazi Zoo, saying that their lives are at risk if the situation remains as it is.
Bloggers have published many pictures depicting the state of extreme neglect of the animals at the zoo. The bloggers demanded that the management at the zoo to take care of the animals and called for a fundraising campaign to provide the needs of these animals.
