The Antiquities Control Office in Mount Nafusa, western Libya, has said that an ancient tomb was discovered by accident in the suburbs of Nalut town.

The tomb was carved into the aquifer on the surface with its sides lined with medium-sized and polished limestone, according to the antiquities office.

According to the archaeologists, the architecture of the building and the artefacts found in the burial ground disclose that the tomb dates back to the second century AD (1800 years).
