Amnesty International demanded a prompt international investigation into the attack committed against illegal migrants at Qaser Bin Ghiser immigration centre, emphasizing that such acts are regarded as war crimes.

The organization clarified in its report that the vehicles used in the attack were carrying pro-Haftar militias insignia.

It also urged all parties to the conflict in Libya to spare the migrants and refugees the scourge of war, stressing the need to provide medical care to the victims and to allow humanitarian organizations to gain access to conflict areas and transfer the stranded to safer places.
