Violations by Haftar's militias continue despite calls for a humanitarian pause to respond to the Covid-19 crisis.

Over the last few days, Tripoli has witnessed heavy shelling by Haftar's militias where residential areas including Ain Zara were targeted with intensive shellfire amid a curfew imposed to prevent a coronavirus outbreak in the country.

This bombing came just hours after Haftar's spokesman, Ahmed Al-Mismari claimed that Haftar "welcomes" a ceasefire for humanitarian purposes, in order to unite efforts towards fighting the new Covid-19 epidemic.
