Administrator of the United States Agency for International Development, Mark Green, and the American Ambassador to Libya, Richard Norland, have together conducted discussions on USAID assisted programs in Libya with a group of Libyan institutions.

The discussions focused on how USAID could support local communities in the country.

In a statement published on the website of the American embassy in Libya, the US Agency is striving to create sustainable stability and support for Libyan institutions and facilities by providing services and increasing opportunities for economic development with the hope of reducing conflict and instability.
